Veterans Affairs secretary among commencement speakers

Inaugural Capital City Veterans Consortium deemed a success

Florida State President Eric J. Barron addresses the veterans consortium.

Student-veterans from Florida State University, Florida A&M University and Tallahassee Community College, along with faculty, staff and administrators, gathered at the Augustus B. Turnbull III Florida State Conference Center on March 22 for dialogue, strategy development, an exhibitor showcase and a panel discussion during the inaugural Capital City Veterans Consortium. Read Story

2012 Student Veteran Film Festival

The 2012 Student Veterans Film Festival took place November 12 and featured The Invisible War, a powerful documentary that examines the issue of military sexual trauma.

The Oscar-nominated film has been selected by the New York TimesChristian Science Monitor and PBS as one of the Ten Best for 2012.
